a great collection of sounds, that -- despite my podcast being nominally horror-themed and not sci fi -- I can find all kinds of bits of fun to inject into scenes. Sometimes I'll use a sound as a one-off, others I might incorporate into drones/pads, rhythmic backdrops, or full pieces. One of the most crucial features is that it provides an organized system with well-named files that are suggestive of the soundscape so I don't have to audition every sound to find what I'm looking for.
